Kok Wai Cheong

Kok Wai Cheong started his Dharma journey at ABC in the early 90's. In order to deepen his understanding of the Dharma, he subsequently enrolled in the first 7-year FPMT Masters program in Advanced Buddhist Studies of Sutra and Tantra at Istituto Lama Tsong Khapa in Italy and completed the course with high honours in 2004. This was followed by a four month solitary retreat in New Zealand.

He has been teaching meditation and Buddhism since 1996, with a special interest in making available the benefits of meditation to a wider audience. From 2006-2015, he served as a senior resident teacher at Vajrayana Institute in Sydney, a Tibetan Buddhist Centre affliated to the Foundation for Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition (FPMT).
