Under the guidance of our Spiritual Director, Lama Zopa Rinpoche, we offer the vast benefits of the Buddha’s teachings through a comprehensive programme of classes, prayer sessions and community service events all year round.

The centre is enlightening—by bringing light and dispelling darkness—dispels ignorance and then brings the light of Dharma to sentient beings.

“A Thousand Hands” – Watch the Making of Our Chenresig Statue

Our three-metre tall Chenresig statue forms the central object of meditation and inspiration in our Level 2 prayer hall. View the painstaking process behind the making of this amazing statue in our video series, “A Thousand Hands”, that captured the key stages of the statue’s on-site construction and development over a period of five months up to February 2016. Watch this six-part documentary here.

Amitabha Buddhist Centre's history and development is captured in this short documentary, which was specially produced for our 25th anniversary celebration in 2014. The key inspiration of the ABC story from the beginning and as we continue on, is our Spiritual Director and most precious guru, Lama Zopa Rinpoche. He is "The Heart of Our Happiness".
