Amitabha Buddhist Centre holds the following distinctions as a centre for the study and practice of the Buddha’s teachings:

• With our emphasis on education, we offer a comprehensive study programme catering to different levels from basic to advanced, conducted primarily in English, with a highly qualified resident teacher at the helm.


• Through our ties to the Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition (FPMT), we are part of a worldwide network of centres and charitable projects, with direct access to a shared pool of extensive learning resources and published materials.


• Being a non-profit Buddhist organisation, our classes are open to all and are conducted free of charge.


• Our seven-storey building is decorated with 120,000 LED lights on the rooftop! These are among our extensive offerings to the Three Jewels—Buddha, Dharma, Sangha. As taught in the scriptures and advised by our teachers, there are inconceivable merits that result from making offerings to the Buddha.
