EMPOWERING LIFE, DESIGNING DESTINY - MANAGING STRESS AND AFFLICTIVE EMOTIONS - NEW

Our life is like riding on a roller coaster: a moment high with happiness, and the next drowning with sorrow and anger. While we are actively seeking happiness, yet happiness seems to be so elusive. ESTABLISHING A DAILY PRACTICE - NEW

Just as a car cannot move without wheels, so it is difficult to make any progress in one's Dharma practice and studies without engaging in the practices contained in the Seven Limb Prayer. The practices of prostrations, offerings, confession, rejoicing, requesting the lamas to remain and teach the Dharma and dedications should be understood to be the very foundation upon which one's entire Dharma practice is built. They are also the core practices of the great lamas themselves.

This series of classes will include not only presentations on the significance of these practices but also practical demonstrations on how they are to be performed and practice sessions on various practices based on Shakyamuni Buddha and 1,000-Armed Chenrezig (Guan Yin). Anyone with faith in the Buddha's teachings, who will like to put them into practice within the framework of a daily commitment, will find these sessions helpful and beneficial.
